Two interpreters who spent years researching and replicating historical professions demonstrate their trades during our August 2023 Living History program.

Our cadre of living history interpreters will be representing civilians and combatants during the American revolution.  Unknown to some is a wartime engagement that took place along the shores of Lake Michigan, ending at what is now Indiana Dunes State Park. Come to the southeast corner of the courthouse square (across the street from the PoCo Muse) and learn about life in the 1770s, and Porter County’s connection to the Revolutionary War.
