LIVING HISTORY: CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT

  • North Lawn 2 Franklin St Valparaiso, IN, 46383 United States (map)

This tintype was created by Dave Rambow at a recent Civil War event at the Wade House in Greenbush, Wisconsin.

The PoCo Muse welcomes back our cadre of living history interpreters, representing men of the 9th Indiana Volunteer Infantry as they would have appeared during the Battle of Franklin in November 1864. Come learn about one of the bloodiest engagements in the western theater of the American Civil War, and find out why it’s sometimes referred to as “Pickett’s Charge of the West.”

This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required to attend.
