Stop by the front stoop of the former sheriff’s residence during Valparaiso's Downtown Trick-or-Treat event between 4-6p on October 15 to receive candy and a special bookmark that commemorates the 1936 promotion when the Premier Theatre gave out free Tootsie Rolls to those who bought a ticket to see Little Lord Fauntleroy.

G. G. Shauer and Sons’ Premier Theatre graced the southeast corner of Lincolnway and Lafayette Street (where Orville now sits at Central Park) in Valparaiso from 1921 until 1982 and still occupies a place in the hearts of many.
