The Porter County Museum is honored to host a third season preview of Community Supported Art Valparaiso. By showcasing these outstanding local talents, the Museum aims to educate visitors about diverse artists living and working locally, enrich our communities by connecting artists and supporters, and inspire us all to connect, create, and share through the arts.
Join Community Supported Art Valparaiso artists, organizers, and supporters for the opening of the second Season Preview exhibit at the Porter County Museum on December 10 from 1-4p. At 2p, hear from the artists themselves during a panel discussion about the artists’ processes, inspirations, and ideas about the importance of arts in our communities.
Over the last twenty years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy seasonal food directly from local farms. With the same “buy local” spirit in mind, the Community Supported Art (CSA) Valpo project supports local art, artists, and collectors. CSA Valpo shareholders directly support the creation of new artwork by artists in the community and receive eight original works in return. For more information about the CSA Valpo project, visit www.CSArtValpo.com.
The third season of CSA Valpo will be on display through March 31, 2017.
